If you’ve opened Google maps to navigate through your city. you’ve definitely been in for a treat. Google has also come up with a revolutionary idea – to connect backyards and provide complete information about the weather, as well as other natural conditions there, using a speaker, calling it Google gnome. The timing for these launches and announcements has been apt, among other things – these announcements have been made on the first day of this very month.
Such occasions are used by Google to not only launch new products but also to promote new features in their already existing products . The Google team in the Netherlands had come up with a groundbreaking concept- Google Wind, which would drive away rain clouds and control the weather. Interestingly, the Google Cloud platform has made a lot of “cloud” based projects – pun intended.
The VR crowd wasn’t left out, thanks to Google’s Haptic Helpers – a team which would go over to your house and take virtual reality to a whole new level – by providing various smells, be it of wine and cheese while you’re on a virtual tour in France, or of the fresh earth, in the Amazon rainforest.
These breakthroughs were however not restricted to Google as Ola came up with an idea involving ingenuity, announcing the launch of their new service – Ola Wheels, which would help users commute from their bedroom to their kitchen for just INR 49/- and was highly appreciated by CEOs such as Melon Musk and Sundar Picture(yes, this was on their official website).
Other major companies weren’t far behind, either, with Amazon coming up with an interactive intelligent personal assistant, Alexa, which could interact with pets, and called the feature Petlexa. Burger King, one of the most well received food chains in major Indian cities, launched their very own Whopper toothpaste, which consists of ingredients used in their whopper burgers. So much for an appetizing way to combat bad breath!
April has therefore been a month full of revolutionary ideas and products that could change our lives and make many dreams come true.
